Keep Your Allison Park Home Safe & Dry: Expert Gutter Cleaning & Repair
We know the challenges of keeping up with the changing seasons in Allison Park. Leaves, twigs, and other debris love to find a home in your gutters. This buildup can quickly lead to clogs, causing rainwater to overflow. These overflowing gutters can wreak havoc on your Allison Park home, leading to:
- Roof Damage: Overflowing gutters can cause water to back up under your roof shingles, leading to leaks and rot. In our harsh winters, this can be especially damaging.
- Paint Damage: Water cascading down your walls can damage your home’s paint job, making your beautiful Allison Park home look less stellar.
- Mold and Mildew Growth: Moisture trapped around your foundation creates a breeding ground for mold and mildew, which is not exactly what you want in your Allison Park basement.
- Foundation Problems: Overflowing gutters can erode the soil around your foundation over time, potentially causing cracks and structural issues.

What Are Gutters and Why Are They Important for Allison Park Homes?

Allison Park is a census-designated place in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is a suburb of Pittsburgh and is located within Hampton, McCandless, Shaler, Indiana and West Deer townships. Allison Park in the 18th century was called Tally Cavey. Tally Cavey was part of the large Pitt Township. The word Talley Cavey is Irish Gaelic for “hill over the borough”. Early Irish settlers named it after Tullycavy on the Ards Peninsula outside Greyabbey, County Down, now in Northern Ireland.[2] The town started in the woods that are now along Mt. Royal Boulevard, and continued until it reached what is now the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
