A fresh exterior can completely change the look of a home. For this project in Fredericktown, PA, Knox’s Construction gave the house a coordinated new look from top to bottom, pairing rich siding with matching soffit, fascia, gutters, and trim.
The Color Palette
The homeowners chose Everlast Chestnut siding as the main color. It is a warm, earthy tone that works naturally with the home’s stone accents and wood details. To frame it, we installed Musket Brown soffit, fascia, and gutters, which give the rooflines and eaves a clean, defined edge. Saddlewood trim adds the finishing touch and ties the whole exterior together.
Why Coordinated Colors Matter
Siding gets most of the attention, but the details around it are what make a home look finished. When the soffit, fascia, gutters, and trim are chosen to complement the siding, the exterior reads as one cohesive design instead of a collection of separate parts. On a home with multiple dormers, gables, and rooflines like this one, those details make a big difference.
